Sport Booking – Is Online Sports Betting Legal?

Traditional sport booking involved going to a Sports Booking Operator who would then give you odds on a certain game. However, since of the PASPA, sports betting is now legal in Nevada as well as in a few other states. The PASPA repeal has created an influx of activity. Major professional teams and the four major American sports leagues are now working with licensed sports book operators to develop their own booking channels. The popularity of betting on sports online is growing, with in-person casinos reacting to increased demand and establishing new locations to meet this demand.

Online sports betting in Iowa is legal since 2019. Online operators are able to accept bets within the state. These online operators are monitored by the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission. Three casinos and online casinos permit you to book sports in Michigan. The state began its sports book program in March 2020, just ahead of the Coronavirus Pandemic swept the state. Mississippi dipped its toe into the world of betting on sports in the year 2018, but is not yet fully embracing mobile wagering.
